Gigsup is North America's first career intelligence platform for students. Built in Vancouver, Canada, Gigsup gives every student a living career profile that discovers who they are, matches them to careers that actually fit, and helps them achieve it. The platform is patent-pending and uses peer-reviewed instruments to solve mismatch by looking at the whole person: values, interests, skills, identity, lifestyle, not just aptitude. Schools use Gigsup to meet career-planning mandates with the counsellor in the loop.
Gigsup is North America's first career intelligence platform for students. Built in Vancouver, Canada, Gigsup gives every student a living career profile that discovers who they are, matches them to careers that fit, and helps them achieve it. Unlike traditional career tools that rely on aptitude quizzes alone, Gigsup solves mismatch by matching on the whole person: values, interests, skills, identity, lifestyle preferences, and regional economic data. The matching engine is patent-pending and built on peer-reviewed instruments, and we are working with a BC post-secondary to keep improving our algorithms. Each career recommendation includes real wages in the student's region, where jobs actually exist, education pathways, and day-in-the-life videos. Gigi, the platform's AI guide, turns a chosen career goal into a personalized plan: course selection, admissions strategies, scholarships, mentors, skills-gap analysis, and interview practice for university, college, and the skilled trades. Schools use Gigsup to meet provincial career-planning mandates with the counsellor in the loop. Students keep their profile for life.

Angles we can speak to: the counsellor shortage, career mandates in Canadian schools, the résumé-is-dead thesis, and what a founder actually learns in the Den.
